OPTICAL MODULE AND FLEXIBLE SUBSTRATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FPC which can be connected efficiently without widening a breadth even if connection terminals of the FPC are increased, and to provide an optical module using the FPC.SOLUTION: A base material 18 includes a pair of end regions at both sides in a first direction D1, and an intermediate region 24 between the pair of end regions. The intermediate region 24 has a pair of side ends 26 at both sides in a second direction D2 orthogonal to the first direction D1. The pair of side ends 26 does not project from the pair of end regions to the outside in the second direction D2, and at least one of the pair of side ends 26 enters the inside in the second direction D2 from the pair of end regions.
