Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately control fuel injection timing when retarding ignition timing for suppressing occurrence of knocking during operation in a stratified combustion mode.SOLUTION: During operation in a stratified combustion mode where fuel injection from a cylinder injection valve is performed in a compression stroke to form stratified air-fuel mixture near a spark plug for stratified combustion, when knocking is detected, ignition timing is retarded until the knocking is no longer detected, and when the knocking is not detected, the fuel injection timing is retarded during a period for a higher combustion speed in a current cycle than a combustion speed in a previous cycle, under the ignition timing when the knocking is no longer detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】成層燃焼モード運転中におけるノッキングの発生抑制のために点火時期を遅角する場合に、燃料噴射時期を適正に制御する。【解決手段】圧縮行程において筒内噴射弁から燃料噴射を行い、点火プラグ近傍に成層混合気を形成して成層燃焼を行う成層燃焼モードでの運転中に、ノッキングが検出された場合には、ノッキングが検出されなくなるまで点火時期の遅角を行う。ノッキングが検出されない場合、ノッキングが検出されなくなったときの点火時期下で、前回のサイクルにおける燃焼速度よりも今回のサイクルにおける燃焼速度が速くなる期間中、燃料噴射時期を遅角する。【選択図】図1
