Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biogas production promotion agent whereby, in the anaerobic fermentation treatment of producing biogas from organic waste, it is possible to reduce the volume of organic waste and improve biogas production efficiency, and a biogas production promoting method, an organic waste treating method and treating device using the same.SOLUTION: A biogas production promotion agent is used in the anaerobic fermentation treatment of producing biogas from organic waste, and contains a nonionic surfactant composed of a compound represented by general formula (a): R-CO(OR)OR(where, Ris a C3 to 21 hydrocarbon group, Ris a C2 to 4 alkylene group, Ris a C1 to 3 alkyl group. m1 is an average repeating number of (ORto represent a number of 2-200).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】有機性廃棄物からバイオガスを生成する嫌気発酵処理において、有機性廃棄物の減容およびバイオガスの生成効率を向上することができるバイオガス生成促進剤およびそれを用いたバイオガス生成促進方法、有機性廃棄物の処理方法、処理装置を提供する。【解決手段】有機性廃棄物からバイオガスを生成する嫌気発酵処理に用いられ、下記一般式（ａ）で表される化合物からなるノニオン界面活性剤を含有する、バイオガス生成促進剤。Ｒ１−ＣＯ（ＯＲ２）ｍ１ＯＲ３・・・（ａ）（（ａ）式中、Ｒ１は炭素原子数３〜２１の炭化水素基、Ｒ２は炭素原子数２〜４のアルキレン基、Ｒ３は炭素原子数１〜３のアルキル基である。ｍ１は（ＯＲ２）の平均繰り返し数を表し、２〜２００の数である。）【選択図】図１
