CLEANING DEVICE FOR INKJET HEAD AND CLEANING METHOD FOR INKJET HEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device and a cleaning method for an inkjet head, which when a large-size inkjet head having a nozzle surface of elongated dimensions is subjected to non-contact cleaning in which the nozzle surface is brought into contact with liquid only, enable high-quality cleaning of the nozzle surface to be surely performed, without attaching and leaving a stain and liquid to and in any parts around the nozzle surface.SOLUTION: A cleaning device 100a for an inkjet head 1 comprises: a base 3 including an upper surface 31 for forming a liquid reservoir space by opposing to a nozzle surface 11 when cleaning the nozzle surface 11 and a plurality of liquid recovery holes 32 which are opened in on the upper surface 31 and are aligned along the longitudinal direction of the nozzle surface 11; and a recovery facilitating member 4 arranged in the plurality of liquid recovery holes 32 so as to be exposed to the upper surface 31.
