Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a civil engineering structure realizing a strong overall structure integrated with the ground at low cost even in the case where there is no solid foundation on the ground on which the blocks are to be mounted and the blocks are not mechanically and tightly coupled, since the blocks bite in the ground and behave as a united body with the ground and adjacent blocks are engaged with each other and the blocks are mutually restrained.SOLUTION: The civil engineering structure uses a hollow cylindrical block 10 that is of a hollow cylindrical shape and has, on its outer peripheral surface, a plurality of protrusions protruding in the radial direction. The plurality of hollow cylindrical blocks 10 are arranged adjacent to each other with their axial centers oriented in the horizontal direction and the protrusions of the adjacent hollow cylindrical blocks 10 are arranged to engage with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】ブロックを積む地盤に強固な基礎が無い場合であって、ブロック同士を機械的に強固に連結していない場合であっても、ブロックが地盤に噛み込み地盤と一体化した挙動をし、かつ隣接するブロック同士が互いに噛合いブロック同士が互いに拘束し合うことによって、地盤と一体化した強固な全体構造物を低コストで実現することができる土木構造物を提供する。【解決手段】中空円柱状の形状を有し、外周面には半径方向に突出した複数の突起部が設けられた中空円柱状ブロック10を使用し、この中空円柱状ブロック10の軸心を水平方向に向けて複数隣接して配置し、隣接する中空円柱状ブロック10の突起部が互いに噛合うように配置されている構成の土木構造物とした。【選択図】図4
