PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker enabling troublesome to be remedied for selection operation of a rice cooking menu.SOLUTION: A rice cooker of the present invention comprises a control unit 3 that, when a specific rice cooking menu item has been selected via a menu selection unit 4 and the start of rice cooking has been instructed by a start instruction unit 5, controls a heating device 2 on the basis of the specific rice cooking menu item selected via the menu selection unit 4, and cooks an item to be cooked within a pot 1. When a received-information reading unit 9 has received menu selection information from a wireless communication terminal 30 via a wireless communication unit 7, the control unit 3 controls the heating device 2 on the basis of the menu selection information in the place of the specific rice cooking menu item selected via the menu selection unit 4, and cooks the item to be cooked within the pot 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】炊飯メニューの選択動作の煩わしさをより一層改善することができる炊飯器を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の炊飯器は、メニュー選択部４にて特定の炊飯メニューが選択されるとともに開始指示部５にて炊飯開始が指示されたとき、メニュー選択部４にて選択された特定の炊飯メニューに基づいて加熱装置２を制御し、鍋１内の調理物の炊飯を行う制御部３を備える。制御部３は、受信情報解読部９が無線通信部７を介して無線通信端末３０からメニュー選択情報を受けたとき、メニュー選択部４にて選択された特定の炊飯メニューに代えて、メニュー選択情報に基づいて加熱装置２を制御し、鍋１内の調理物の炊飯を行うように構成される。【選択図】図１
