SAFETY EQUIPMENT FOR BRIDGE ABUTMENT REAR SIDE AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF SAFETY EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide safety equipment on a bridge abutment rear side which makes it possible to prevent falling of vehicle even if a banking on the bridge abutment rear surface is scoured due to closure of the river sectional surface by river swelling, flooding, or drift wood.SOLUTION: Safety equipment provided with a precast slab plate in the running direction of a road and a safety device drawn and installed throughout an earthwork section under the road pavement on the bridge abutment rear side. The safety device is formed by a plurality of steel or chemical fiber cables connected to one another to be placed around in a latticed manner. One end in the road running direction of the safety device is fixed by an anchor to a wing wall and/or a parapet on the bridge abutment rear side, and a cable connection part of the safety device is clamped by fixture or interval holding material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】河川の増水、氾濫、または流木による河川断面の閉塞などによって橋台背面の盛土が洗堀されたとしても、車両の落下を防ぐことを可能にする橋台背面における安全設備を提供する。【解決手段】橋台背面側の道路の舗装の下に、道路の走行方向に踏掛版部及び土工部にわたって延伸敷設された安全装置を備えた安全設備であって、安全装置は鋼製又は化学繊維製の複数のケーブルを連結して格子状に張り渡すことにより形成されており、安全装置の道路の走行方向の一方の端部は橋台背面側の翼壁及び／又はパラペットにアンカー固定されており、安全装置のケーブル連結部は固定金具又は間隔保持材により緊結されている安全設備。【選択図】図２
