METHOD FOR PROVIDING STEM CELL-CONTAINING AGENT AND SET FOR PROVIDING STEM CELLS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for providing a stem cell sample that can be provided for administration at a place different from the stem cell preparation facility where stem cells to be administered to racehorses or competition horses are prepared in advance so that the number of viable cells of the stem cells at the time of administration is the desired number, and to provide a stem cell provision set.SOLUTION: The method for providing a stem cell-containing agent to be administered to racehorses or competition horses comprises: a cryopreservation step S1 for freezing stem cells collected from an animal; a thawing step S2 for thawing the frozen stem cell; a viable cell number determination step S3 for determining the absolute number of viable cells using the viability of stem cells over a recommended passage of time from a predetermined time when the number of viable cells after the thawing step S2 has been confirmed to when the stem cells are administered to the racehorse or competition horse, and the number of desired living cells at the time of administering stem cells to racehorses or horses; a stem cell containing-agent preparation step S4 for preparing a stem cell-containing agent comprising stem cells that satisfy the absolute number of viable cells; and a shipping step S5 for shipping the stem cell-containing agent to the area of implementation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】幹細胞を競走馬または競技馬に投与することを前提とし、投与時の幹細胞の生細胞数が所望の数となるように事前に調整し、幹細胞調製施設とは異なる投与場所に幹細胞サンプルを提供可能な幹細胞サンプルの提供方法及び幹細胞提供セットの提供。【解決手段】動物から採取された幹細胞を凍結する凍結保存工程Ｓ１、凍結された幹細胞を解凍する解凍工程Ｓ２、解凍工程Ｓ２後の幹細胞の解凍工程後生細胞数が確認される所定の時から幹細胞が競走馬または競技馬に投与されるまでの推奨される推奨時間経過時における生存率と、競走馬又は技馬へ幹細胞を投与する際の希望生細胞数と、を用いて生細胞絶対数を決定する生細胞数決定工程Ｓ３、生細胞絶対数を満たす幹細胞を含む幹細胞含有剤を調製する幹細胞含有剤調製工程Ｓ４、及び実施エリアに上記幹細胞含有剤を輸送する輸送工程Ｓ５、を含む、競走馬又は競技馬に投与される幹細胞含有剤の提供方法。【選択図】図１
