MECHANICAL PENCIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical pencil which feeds a lead forward according to consumption of the lead during writing in response to a user pressing the lead to a writing surface at given timing with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A barrel 8 includes: a tip member 4 which is disposed so as to move forward and rearward with its front end protruding from a front end opening 8a of the barrel 8; a slide member 6 which is disposed so as to move forward and rearward with its front end protruding from a tip end opening 4a of the tip member 4; a lead holding member 26 provided within the slide member 6; a first elastic member 22 which elastically urges the tip member 4 forward; and a second elastic member 21 which elastically urges the lead feed mechanism 8 forward. In a mechanical pencil, slide speed control means is provided between the barrel 8 and the tip member 4 or the lead feed mechanism 18 which is disposed so as to move forward and rearward relative to the barrel 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】筆記時の芯の消耗に応じて、使用者が任意のタイミングで該芯を筆記面に強く押圧することで、当該芯が前方に繰り出されるシャープペンシルを単純な構造で提供すること。【解決手段】軸筒８が、軸筒８の前端開口部８ａから前端を突出させ前後動可能に配設された先部材４と、先部材４の先端開口部４ａから前端を突出させ前後動可能に配設されたスライド部材６と、スライド部材６に内設した芯保持部材２６と、先部材４を前方に弾発する第一の弾発部材２２と、芯繰出機構８を前方に弾発する第二の弾発部材２１と、を備え、軸筒８と、軸筒８に対して前後動可能に配設された先部材４または芯繰出機構１８と、の間に摺動速度制御手段を設ける。【選択図】図２
