IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a toner bottle to be bundled in a main body and to be shipped, and to prevent toner scattering and leakage, without increasing size and cost of a device.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a bottle 100 which is detachably provided in a main body of the apparatus and stores toner; a shutter 301 for opening/closing a discharge port 300a formed in the bottle 100 to discharge the toner; and a shutter slider 213 which is arranged in the main body of the apparatus, and engages with the shutter 301 along with insertion operation of the bottle 100 to open/close the shutter 301. The shutter slider 213 is arranged so as to move from a first position which allows the shutter 301 to be located in a closed position for closing the discharge port 300a, to a second position where the discharge port 300a can be opened/closed by the shutter 301 as the bottle 100 is mounted/dismounted on/from the main body of the apparatus, when the bottle 100 is mounted on the main body of the apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 【課題】本発明の目的は、装置の大型化やコストの増大を招くことなく、トナーボトルを本体に同梱して出荷することを可能にし、なおかつトナー飛散や漏れなどを防止すること。【解決手段】装置本体に着脱可能に設けられ、トナーを収納するボトル１００と、前記ボトル１００に設けられたトナーを排出する排出口３００ａを開閉するシャッタ３０１と、装置本体に設けられ、前記ボトル１００の挿入動作に伴い、前記シャッタ３０１と係合することで前記シャッタ３０１を開閉させるシャッタスライダ２１３と、を有する画像形成装置であって、前記シャッタスライダ２１３は、前記ボトル１００が装置本体に装着されたときに前記シャッタ３０１が前記排出口３００ａを閉じる閉位置に位置することを許容する第１位置から、前記ボトル１００が装置本体への着脱動作に伴って前記排出口３００ａを前記シャッタ３０１が開閉可能な第２位置へ移動可能に設けられている。【選択図】 図７
