Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the replacement work without requiring re-adjustment of the blade tip position at the time of fixing a cutting insert to a cutter body after re-polishing the cutting edge of the cutting insert on the cutting surface side in a cutting tool for thread whirling processing.SOLUTION: A cutting insert 201 includes a cutting edge 210 which has the isosceles trapezoid shape and the planar shape with the internal angle between the lower base and each leg as a blade angle α, and has a cutting surface 213 on the end of the lower base. A clamp portion of the cutter body 101 includes: a first restraint wall surface 323 which restrains a cutting surface side front surface 213b of the insert 201 as a first restraining object surface; and a second restraint wall surface 325 which restrains a front flank surface side front surface 215b of the insert 201 as a second restraining object surface. The positioning in the protrusion direction of the blade tip 211 at the fixation is performed by respectively pressing the first restraining object surface to the first restraint wall surface 323 and the second restraining object surface to the second restraint wall surface 325.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】スレッドワーリング加工用の切削工具において、切削インサートの切れ刃をすくい面側で再研磨した後、そのインサートのカッタ本体への固定に際し、再度の刃先位置の調整を要せず、その交換作業ができるようにする。【解決手段】切削インサート201は、等脚台形で板状をなし、下底と各脚との内角を刃物角αとし、下底の端にすくい面213を有する切れ刃210を備えるものとし、カッタ本体101のクランプ部位は、インサート201のすくい面側表面213bを第1被拘束面として拘束する第1拘束壁面323と、インサート201の前逃げ面側表面215bを第2被拘束面として拘束する第2拘束壁面325とを備えるものとし、その固定時の刃先211の突出方向の位置決めを、第1拘束壁面323に第1被拘束面を、第2拘束壁面325に第2被拘束面を、それぞれ押し付けることによって受け持たせた。【選択図】図3
