The jet nozzle 3 is provided in such a manner that the longitudinal direction of the spray range 46 of the cooling water in the slab surface 41 is tilted to a horizontal direction, and also, the center 460 of the spray range 46 is located at a part upper than an intermediate position 44 between the contact position of the roll 2 upper than the jet nozzle 3 and the contact position of the lower roll 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
