Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently apply a varnish onto a crossover part while suppressing permeation of the varnish into an undercut part of a commutator.SOLUTION: In a rotor of a rotary electric machine, there are provided a shaft 6; a rotor core 7 attached to a periphery of the shaft 6; a rotor coil 8 wound around the rotor core 7; a commutator 9 attached to one end of the shaft 6; a crossover part 22 for connecting a connection part 21 of the commutator 9 with the rotor coil 8; and a varnish 31 applied onto the rotor coil 8, the connection part 21 and the crossover part 22. There is further provided a space surface 28 with no presence of an undercut part 25 between an end part situated on the connection part 21 side of the undercut part 25 formed to the commutator 9, and the connection part 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
