PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To locate a castories line at an optimum position.SOLUTION: A candidate point selection part 116 of a position determination device 100 selects an apex on a contour line 58 which is expressed by a polyline as a candidate point. A search point selection part 118 selects a search point St1 which becomes a basis for searching for a point which becomes an end point of a castories line from the candidate points. A base line setting part 120 sets a line which combines a reference point St0 and the search point St1 as a base line Ln. A candidate line setting part 121 sets a line which respectively combines points of plural candidate points excluding the search point St1 and the search point St1 as a candidate line. A selection part 123 so makes a candidate line located in only a non-effective region 56 as to be a selection candidate line. An angle calculation part 124 calculates an angle formed by the base line Ln and the selection candidate line. A castories line setting part 125 sets a line which combines a candidate point on a selection candidate line which has a smallest angle of calculated angles and the search point St1 as a castories line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】最適な位置にカストリ線を配置する。【解決手段】位置決定装置１００の候補点選択部１１６は、ポリラインで表現された輪郭線５８上の頂点を候補点に選択する。探索点選択部１１８は、候補点の中から、カストリ線の端点となる点を探索するための基準となる探索点Ｓｔ１を選択する。基準線設定部１２０は、基準点Ｓｔ０と探索点Ｓｔ１とを結ぶ線を基準線Ｌｎに設定する。候補線設定部１２１は、複数の候補点のうち探索点Ｓｔ１を除く点と、探索点Ｓｔ１とをそれぞれ結ぶ線を候補線に設定する。選択部１２３は、非有効領域５６のみに配置されている候補線を選択候補線とする。角度算出部１２４は、基準線Ｌｎと、選択候補線とが成す角度を算出する。カストリ線設定部１２５は、算出された角度のうち、最も小さい角度における選択候補線の候補点と、探索点Ｓｔ１とを結ぶ線をカストリ線に設定する。【選択図】図４
