Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a filler material and a filler material which stably hold the weldability used for welding a Mg alloy material.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method of manufacturing a filler material formed of an alloy material mainly composed of magnesium (Mg), characterized in that a surface of a wire rod formed of the alloy material mainly composed of magnesium (Mg) is processed with a fluorine compound.
