Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly estimate an actual temperature of a stator coil of a rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: A temperature estimating system 10 for a rotary electric machine comprises: a coil temperature sensor 40 that detects a temperature of a stator coil 36 of the rotary electric machine 30; a refrigerant temperature sensor 42 that detects a temperature of refrigerant F supplied into the case 48 of the rotary electric machine 30; and an actual-temperature estimating section 14 that obtains an actual-temperature estimated value of the stator coil 36 by correcting, in a predetermined cycle, a temperature Tct detected by the coil temperature sensor 40. The actual-temperature estimating section 14 obtains a temperature difference between the actual-temperature estimation value obtained in a previous cycle and a temperature Tot detected by a refrigerant temperature sensor 42, which serves as an index indicating immersion of the coil temperature sensor 40 in the refrigerant F. An amount of correction, which may change according to the temperature difference and an amount of change in temperature Tct detected by the coil temperature sensor 40, is calculated. The temperature Tct detected by the coil temperature sensor 40 is corrected using the amount of correction, thereby obtaining an actual-temperature estimation value of the stator coil 36.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】回転電機のステータコイルの実温度を正確に推定する。【解決手段】回転電機の温度推定システム10は、回転電機30のステータコイル36の温度を検出するコイル温度センサ40と、回転電機30のケース48内に供給された冷媒Fの温度を検出する冷媒温度センサ42と、予め定められた周期で、コイル温度センサ40の検出温度Tctを補正して、ステータコイル36の実温度推定値を求める実温度推定部14と、を備える。実温度推定部14は、コイル温度センサ40の冷媒Fへの浸漬状態を表す指標となる、前回の周期で求められた実温度推定値と冷媒温度センサ42の検出温度Totとの温度差を求め、その温度差と、コイル温度センサ40の検出温度Tctの変化量とに応じて変化する補正量を算出し、その補正量でコイル温度センサ40の検出温度Tctを補正することでステータコイル36の実温度推定値を求める。【選択図】図1
