Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for easily and efficiently producing solid fuel from a biomass feed stock comprising lumber.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, there is provided a method of producing solid fuel comprising a step of mechanically compressing and dehydrating a biomass feed stock comprising lumber. According to the present invention, the weight ratio of the biomass feed stock passing through a sieve having openings of 6.4 mm increases only 5.0% or less after the compression step, and the low caloric value of the biomass after the compression step is at least 2100 kcal/kg.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】本発明の課題は、木材を含むバイオマス原料から簡便かつ効率的に固形燃料を製造する技術を提供することである。【解決手段】本発明によって、木材を含むバイオマス原料を機械的に圧縮して脱水する工程を含む、固形燃料の製造方法が提供される。本発明においては、目開きが６．４ｍｍの篩を通過するバイオマス原料の重量割合が、圧縮の前後で５．０％以下しか増加せず、圧縮後のバイオマスの低位発熱量が２１００ｋｃａｌ／ｋｇ以上である。【選択図】図１
