Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of post-processing a glass tube semifinished product (1) including thermoforming which is at least partially performed.SOLUTION: A method comprises the steps of: preparing a glass tube semifinished product and providing data characteristic of a tube with respect to the glass tube semifinished product; reading the data characteristic of the tube out; and post-processing the glass tube semifinished product including thermoforming which is at least partially performed. According to the present invention, at last one process parameter is controlled according to the data characteristic of the tube when the glass tube semifinished product is post-processed including the thermoforming which is at least partially performed. Consequently, the post-processing can be adjusted more efficiently according to respective individual characteristics of the glass tube semifinished product to be processed or subsections thereof. Especially, characteristics related to individual glass tube semifinished products need not be measured again.
