Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric vibrating reed with excellent vibration property.SOLUTION: A piezoelectric vibrating reed 10 comprises a piezoelectric plate 20 which is formed through AT cut and has a first main face 21, a second main face 23 and a side face 25. The piezoelectric vibrating reed also has: a first mesa section 41 formed on the first main face 21; and a second mesa section 46 formed on the second main face 23. In the first mesa section 41, a curved face continued to an apex face 41a thereof is formed on a side face thereof.
