In the lithium ion secondary battery, a cyclic sulfate ester compound, vinylene carbonate (VC), and tris(trimethylsilyl)phosphate are contained in the electrolyte, graphitizable carbon is contained as a negative electrode active material, and the total amount of the cyclic sulfate ester compound, the vinylene carbonate (VC), and the tris(trimethylsilyl)phosphate is 0.6-2.2 mass% with respect to the total amount of the electrolyte.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
