Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus which can obtain a proper reference value of toner density by uniformly agitating a developer in a developing unit in a period as short as possible even if the two-component development system developing unit filled with the developer made of the toner and carrier is left under a harsh environment.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus includes reference value acquisition means which detects the developer in a developing unit by a toner density detection sensor while agitating the developer by an agitation member and acquires the detection value as a toner density reference value, and executes toner supply control to the developing unit on the basis of the toner density reference value. The agitation member includes a screw part and a paddle part. The reference value acquisition means executes agitation (C) of agitating the developer at the half agitation speed after agitation (B) of agitating the developer at the full agitation speed, then performs sampling of the output of the toner density detection sensor in the state where agitation (D) is performed at the full agitation speed, and acquires the average value as the toner density reference value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
【課題】トナーとキャリアからなる現像剤が充填された2成分現像方式の現像器が悪環境下で放置されていたとしても、できるだけ短時間内で現像器内の現像剤を均一に撹拌して、適正なトナー濃度の基準値を得ることができる画像形成装置を提供する。【解決手段】現像器内の現像剤を撹拌部材で撹拌しながらトナー濃度検出センサーで検出して、その検出値をトナー濃度基準値として取得する基準値取得手段を有し、当該トナー濃度基準値に基づき現像器へのトナー補給制御を実行する画像形成装置であって、撹拌部材は、スクリュー部とパドル部とを備え、基準値取得手段は、現像剤を全速の撹拌速度で撹拌する撹拌(B)の後、半速の撹拌速度で撹拌する撹拌(C)を実行し、その後、全速の撹拌速度で撹拌(D)をした状態におけるトナー濃度検出センサーの出力をサンプリングして、その平均値をトナー濃度基準値として取得する。【選択図】図7 |
