Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition containing a silanol condensation catalyst which exhibits good catalytic performance even under crosslinking treatment conditions of any of low-temperature conditions to high-temperature conditions and has less concerns of environmental loads and to provide a silane crosslinked polyethylene and a molded article obtained by using the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a composition containing a silanol condensation catalyst which comprises: a silanol condensation catalyst containing a compound having peaks in a wavelength region of 1350 to 1050 cmand/or 1800 to 1650 cmin the IR spectrum and a metal; and polyethylene, wherein the content of the silanol condensation catalyst is 0.001 to 15 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of polyethylene.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】低温条件下から高温条件下までいずれの架橋処理条件下においても良好な触媒性能を発揮し、環境負荷の懸念の低いシラノール縮合触媒含有組成物、並びにこれを用いて得られるシラン架橋ポリエチレンおよび成形体を提供する。【解決手段】IRスペクトルにおいて、1350〜1050cm−1および/または1800〜1650cm−1の波長領域にピークを有する化合物と金属とを含むシラノール縮合触媒と、ポリエチレンとを含み、かつ該シラノール縮合触媒の含有量がポリエチレン100質量部に対して0.001〜15質量部であるシラノール縮合触媒含有組成物。【選択図】図1
