Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane element in which only a part of hollow fiber membranes can be replaced, and the number of hollow fiber membranes per unit volume can be increased.SOLUTION: Support plate parts 111 having a plurality of mounting holes 111a for detachably mounting a plurality of hollow fiber membrane units 200 separately are arranged on a pair of cases 110, respectively. A space inside an annular member 230 is structured in a rectangular parallelepiped shape, and a step is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the annular member 230. A step is also formed on an inner peripheral surface of the mounting hole 111a.
