Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp, a vehicle lamp, and a lighting fixture for vehicle capable of handling low beam and high beam with simple configuration.SOLUTION: A discharge lamp 100 includes a light emitting section 11 internally having a discharge space 111 filled with a metal halide 2 and inert gas; and a pair of electrodes 32 projecting inward of the discharge space 111, and arranged oppositely at a predetermined distance. When a power applied to the discharge lamp at the time of low beam is 24-30 W, a power applied to the discharge lamp at the time of high beam is 32-38 W, maximum thickness of the light emitting section is t (mm), and encapsulation pressure of the inert gas at room temperature (25°C) is P (atm), following expression is satisfied; 7.2 (atm/mm)≤P/t (atm/mm)≤10.0 (atm/mm).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】簡略な構成でロービームおよびハイビームに対応が可能な放電ランプ、車両用灯具、および車両用照明装置を提供する。【解決手段】金属ハロゲン化物2と、不活性ガスと、が封入された放電空間111を内部に有する発光部11と;放電空間111の内部に突出し、所定の距離を置いて対向配置させた一対の電極32と;を具備した放電ランプ100である。ロービームの際に前記放電ランプに印加する電力を24W以上、30W以下とし、ハイビームの際に前記放電ランプに印加する電力を32W以上、38W以下とし、前記発光部の最大肉厚をt(mm)、前記不活性ガスの常温(25℃)おける封入圧力をP(atm)としたときに以下の式を満足する。7.2(atm/mm)≦P/t(atm/mm)≦10.0(atm/mm)【選択図】図1
