Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine observation system which can observe air flows in the inside of a combustion chamber and in the inside of a cylinder.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an engine observation system 200 for observing the inside of an engine 100, the engine observation system including: a cylinder 101 having light permeability; a combustion chamber 104 on the cylinder 101; a sheet light creation unit 202 for emitting sheet light from the right and left sides of the cylinder 101 into a direction perpendicular to the axis of the cylinder 101; and a mirror 203 located outside the cylinder 101 and lower than the observation target region in the cylinder 101, the mirror 203 reflecting the sheet light emitted from the sheet light creation unit 202 to the inside of the combustion chamber 104.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】燃焼室内部とシリンダ内部の双方の気流を観測することができるエンジン観測装置を提供する。【解決手段】光透過性を有するシリンダ101と、シリンダ101の上部に配置された燃焼室104と、を備えるエンジン100の内部の観測を行うエンジン観測装置200であって、シリンダ101の左右両側からシリンダ101の軸と垂直な方向にシート光を照射するシート光作成ユニット202と、シリンダ101の外部であって、シリンダ101内の観測対象領域よりも下側に設けられ、シート光作成ユニット202から照射されたシート光を燃焼室104の内部へ向けて反射するミラー203と、を備える。【選択図】図1
