PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide furniture with a top plate having a good appearance which allows articles on the top plate to be managed easily.SOLUTION: Furniture with a top plate includes a fixed top plate 1 whose height position from a floor surface is fixed, a movable top plate 3 adjacent to an unused end side of the fixed top plate 1, which can be lifted and lowered vertically, a first modesty panel 41 suspended from an unused edge of the movable top plate 3, which can be exposed above the unused end of the fixed top plate 1, a second modesty panel 42 suspended from the movable top plate 3 at a place separated from the first modesty panel 41 by a predetermined distance, a frame structure formed between the first modesty panel 41 and the second modesty panel 42, and a support structure 6 provided to the frame structure for supporting the movable top plate 3 so as to lift or lower it.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 【課題】見栄えが良く、天板上の物品の管理が行い易い天板付家具を提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係るに係る天板付家具は、床面からの高さ位置が固定された固定天板１と、この固定天板１の反使用端側に隣接し上下に昇降可能な可動天板３と、可動天板３の反使用縁から垂下し固定天板１の反使用端よりも上方に露出し得る第一の幕板４１と、この第一の幕板４１から所定寸法隔てた箇所において可動天板３から垂下する第二の幕板４２と、これら第一の幕板４１及び第二の幕板４２間に形成されたフレーム構造体と、このフレーム構造体に設けられ可動天板３を昇降可能に支持する支持構造体６とを具備することを特徴とする。【選択図】図７
