Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device in which the generation of a deflection of a circuit board within a cover is suppressed, and a method of manufacturing the illumination device.SOLUTION: An illumination device 1 includes an elongated circuit board 21 having flexibility, a plurality of light emitters 22 mounted in a row on the circuit board 21, and an elongated cover 11 formed of a transparent soft resin material and covering the circuit board 21 and the light emitters 22. Opposite ends of the circuit board 21 in a longitudinal direction, and opposite ends 21a of the circuit board 21 in a transverse direction are buried in the cover 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】カバー内での回路基板の撚れの発生が抑制された照明装置および照明装置の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】照明装置１は、可撓性を有する長尺の回路基板２１と、回路基板２１に列状に実装された複数の発光素子２２と、透光性の軟性樹脂材料から形成され回路基板２１および複数の発光素子２２を覆う長尺のカバー１１と、を備える。そして、回路基板２１の長手方向の両端部と、回路基板２１の短手方向における両端部２１ａと、は、カバー１１に埋設されている。【選択図】図２
