PREVENTION OF AND RECOVERY FROM DRUG-INDUCED OTOTOXICITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pharmaceutical compositions administered prior to onset of acoustic trauma, used for preventing hearing loss due to acoustic trauma.SOLUTION: A pharmaceutical composition has a multiparticulate JNK inhibitor or a multiparticulate neurotroph, allows sustained release of the JNK inhibitor or neurotroph into the ear, e.g. by intraperitoneal administration, for at least 5 days after the administration, and includes a gel formulation or a viscous formulation.
