PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation cover capable of reducing kinds of indirect live-line tool needed for an attaching/detaching operation to a wire and hardly detaching.SOLUTION: There is provided an insulation cover 1A having a first cylindrical body 2 by notching a part of cylinder consisting of an insulation material over whole range in an axis direction thereof, a second cylindrical body 9a by notching a part of cylinder consisting of the insulation material and accommodated in a hollow part of the first cylindrical body 2 over whole range in an axis direction thereof, a pair of first edge surface parts 3 capping both edge surfaces of the first cylindrical body 2, a pair of second edge surface parts 10a capping both edge surfaces of the second cylindrical body 9a, a second notch part 5 formed in a first notch part 4 formed in the first cylindrical body 2 continuously, a fourth notch part 12 formed in a third notch part 11 formed in the second cylindrical body 9a continuously, a window part for guide 6a formed in the first edge surface part 3 and a projection part 13a projection arranged in the second edge surface part 10a so as to be derived from the window for guide 6a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】電線への着脱作業に必要な間接活線工具の種類を少なくすることができて外れにくい絶縁カバーを提供する。【解決手段】絶縁材からなる円筒体の一部をその軸方向の全域にわたって切り欠いてなる第１の筒状体２と、この第１の筒状体２の中空部内に収容され絶縁材からなる円筒体の一部をその軸方向の全域にわたって切り欠いてなる第２の筒状体９ａと、第１の筒状体２の両端面を塞ぐ一対の第１の端面部３と、第２の筒状体９ａの両端面を塞ぐ一対の第２の端面部１０ａと、第１の筒状体２に形成される第１の切欠き部４に連続して形成される第２の切欠き部５と、第２の筒状体９ａに形成される第３の切欠き部１１に連続して形成される第４の切欠き部１２と、第１の端面部３に形成されるガイド用窓部６ａと、このガイド用窓部６ａから導出されるように第２の端面部１０ａに突設される突起部１３ａとを有することを特徴とする絶縁カバー１Ａによる。【選択図】図１
