Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery module in which discharge speed of internal gas, by means of an open valve, can be improved.SOLUTION: A battery module 1 includes an open valve 12 for releasing the pressure in the enclosure 5 to the outside, when the internal pressure of the enclosure reaches a threshold level. The open valve 12 has an opening 13 provided in the enclosure 5, a valve body 15 placed on the external surface 5a of the enclosure 5 so as to close the opening 13, and a cover 16 to be attached to the enclosure 5 while energizing the valve body 15 to the external surface 5a of the enclosure 5. Internal surface 5b of the enclosure 5, where the internal surface side opening end 13b of the opening 13 is located, is a flat surface, and the cross sectional area of the opening 13 decreases continuously or gradually from the internal surface 5b of the enclosure 5 toward the external surface 5a thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】開放弁による内部ガスの排出速度を向上することができる電池モジュールを提供する。【解決手段】電池モジュール1は、筐体5の内圧が閾値に到達したときに筐体内の圧力を外部に開放する開放弁12を備え、開放弁12は、筐体5に設けられた開口部13と、開口部13を塞ぐように筐体5の外面5aに配置された弁体15と、弁体15を筐体5の外面5aに付勢した状態で筐体5に取り付けられるカバー16と、を有し、開口部13の内面側開口端13bが位置する筐体5の内面5bは、平坦面となっており、開口部13の断面積は、筐体5の内面5bから外面5aに向かって連続的又は段階的に小さくなっている。【選択図】図1
