MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THERMOPLASTIC PREPREG SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic prepreg sheet excellent in mechanical strength such as tensile elastic modulus, tensile strength and impact strength, and thermal moldability, and a method for easily and inexpensively manufacturing the thermoplastic prepreg sheet.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a thermoplastic prepreg sheet by laminating at least one olefinic resin sheet and at least one glass cloth, heating and applying pressure in a temperature range between initiation point and completion point of endothermic peak obtained from a melting curve of an olefinic resin measured by a differential scanning calorimeter and at pressure of 5 to 100 MPa, and impregnating the olefinic resin into the glass cloth.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】本発明は、引張弾性率、引張強度、衝撃強度等の機械的強度及び熱成形性の優れた熱可塑性プリプレグシート及び積層熱可塑性プリプレグシートを容易に且つ安価に製造する方法を提供する。【解決手段】少なくとも１枚のオレフィン系樹脂シートと少なくとも１枚のガラスクロスを積層し、示差走査熱量計で測定したオレフィン系樹脂の融解曲線から求められる吸熱ピークの開始点と終了点の温度範囲、及び、５〜１００ＭＰａの圧力で加熱加圧し、オレフィン系樹脂をガラスクロスに含浸することを特徴とする熱可塑性プリプレグシートの製造方法。【選択図】なし
