RECLINING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration capable of suppressing backlash between an internal gear and an external gear in a reclining device for adjusting inclination of a seat back.SOLUTION: A reclining device 20 includes a cam 40 that interposes in an interposed position between a boss 24e of an internal gear 24 and a bush 23c of an external gear 23 to increase an amount of eccentricity, and moves from the interposed position to an axially one end side of a rotational shaft 30 to decrease the amount of eccentricity. Further, the rotational shaft 30 includes a second extension surface 33b that, in rotational turning, comes into contact with end faces 45 and 46 of the cam 40 to guide the cam 40, against energization by energizing means 26, to the axially one end side according to the rotational turning.
