PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide effective and appropriate safety equipment to be installed on a roof surface of a folded-plate roof, and safety equipment for a folded plate roof which is excellent in fall preventing performance especially for preventing crash or falling.SOLUTION: Safety equipment A installed on a roof surface of a folded-plate roof 1 comprises at least one pair of struts 2 arranged at a predetermined interval on the folded-plate roof 1, and a main rope 9 to be bridged between the upper end parts of the struts 2. The strut 2 includes three or more legs 3 having the same shape and the same size, and the upper end parts of the plurality of legs 3 are connected to each other so as to be relatively rotatable and divisible.
