Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber lateral input/output device capable of absorbing differences in tape thickness among individual optical fiber ribbons, and achieving a reduction in loss by avoiding side pressure applied to each coated optical fiber due to pressing force for eliminating an air gap between an optical fiber ribbon and a recess-curved surface member.SOLUTION: In an optical fiber lateral input/output device according to the present invention, a second member presses an optical fiber ribbon against a recess curved surface of a first member, and an individual difference in tape thickness of the optical fiber ribbon is absorbed, thus enabling elimination of an air gap between the optical fiber ribbon and a recess-curved surface member. In the optical fiber lateral input/output device according to the present invention, the second member also presses a portion between coated optical fibers at a point in a surface of the optical fiber ribbon, thus enabling a reduction in side pressure applied to the coated optical fibers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】テープ心線のテープ厚みの個体差を吸収でき、テープ心線と凹曲面部材との間の空隙を無くすための押付力による各光ファイバ心線への側圧を回避して損失を低減できる光ファイバ側方入出力装置を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】本発明に係る光ファイバ側方入出力装置は、第2部材がテープ心線を第1部材の凹曲面へ押し付けており、テープ心線のテープ厚みの個体差を吸収してテープ心線と凹曲面部材との間の空隙を無くすことができる。そして、本発明に係る光ファイバ側方入出力装置は、第2部材がテープ心線の面のうち光ファイバ心線間を点で押すため光ファイバ心線への側圧を低減することができる。【選択図】図1
