Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absolute encoder which can ensure a resolution and can suppress increase in the size.SOLUTION: An absolute encoder 100 includes: a second angle sensor 32 for detecting the rotational angle of a third driven shaft 13, the shaft 13 being rotated by the rotation of an input shaft 8; and a counting mechanism 82 for specifying the number of rotation of the third driven shaft 13.
