VEHICULAR CONSOLE ARM REST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular console arm rest that has a good appearance even when moved in a forward/backward direction.SOLUTION: A jacket 50 can be lengthened/shortened in a vehicle forward/backward direction, is connected to a base 20 at a rear end 53, is also connected to a slide member 30 at a front end 54. Therefore, when the slide member 30 slides in the vehicle forward/backward direction with respect to the base 20, the jacket 50 is pushed/pulled by the slide member 30 and lengthened/shortened in the vehicle forward/backward direction. In this structure, since the jacket 30 is simply lengthened/shortened, a trail is prevented from being left due to movement of the jacket 50, unlike a (conventional) situation in which the jacket 50 is moved forwards/backwards without being lengthened/shortened. Accordingly, the present invention provides a better appearance than a conventional one.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】 前後方向に移動させたときにも見栄えの良い車両用コンソールアームレストの提供。【解決手段】外装材５０が、車両前後方向に伸縮可能とされており、後端部５３でベース２０と接続されており、前端部５４でスライド部材３０と接続されている。そのため、スライド部材３０がベース２０に対して車両前後方向にスライドすると、外装材５０がスライド部材３０によって押し引きされて車両前後方向に伸縮する。この構造では、外装材３０が伸縮するだけであるため、外装材５０が伸縮せずに前後動する場合（従来）と異なり、外装材５０が動くことによる跡地が見えてしまうことが無い。よって、従来に比べて見栄えがよい。【選択図】 図３
