PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable visualizing a projection image after next activation, even when an invisible image is set in a projecting state at shutdown time.SOLUTION: A projection device comprises: projection means that can project at least either of a visible image and an invisible image on a projection plane; projection control means that controls the projection means such that at least either of the visible image and the invisible image is projected; and control means that controls a projection state of activation time on the basis of the projection state of a device at shutdown time, and the control means controls the projection state to be the state projecting the visible image at next activation time when the state of the device at the shutdown time is the state projecting the visible image, and controls the projection state to be the projection state including at least the visible image at the next activation time when the state of the device at the shutdown time is the state projecting the invisible image only.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】シャットダウン時に不可視画像を投影する状態に設定されていた場合であっても、次回の起動後に投影画像を視認できるようにする。【解決手段】投影装置は、可視画像と不可視画像の少なくともいずれかを投影面に投影可能な投影手段と、前記可視画像と前記不可視画像のうち少なくともいずれかを投影するように前記投影手段を制御する投影制御手段と、装置のシャットダウン時の投影状態に基づき、起動時の投影状態を制御する制御手段を有し、前記制御手段は、装置のシャットダウン時の状態が可視画像を投影する状態であった場合は、次の起動時には可視画像を投影する状態となるように制御し、装置のシャットダウン時の状態が不可視画像のみを投影する状態であった場合は、次の起動時には少なくとも可視画像を含んだ投影状態となるように制御する。【選択図】図６
