PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can reduce fogging while reducing disturbance of an image upstream of a transfer part.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 comprises: a photoreceptor 1; charging means 2; exposure means 16; developing means 4; transfer means 5; and control means 50. The control means 50 controls the exposure means 16 to expose non-image parts of an electrostatic image on the photoreceptor 1.
