PRODUCTION METHOD OF OPTICAL FIBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of an optical fiber by which uneven thickness of a coating resin of the optical fiber can be suppressed.SOLUTION: A method for producing an optical fiber 9 is provided, including heating and drawing a glass preform 2 for an optical fiber to form a small-diameter glass fiber G, and applying a resin 6 on the outer periphery of the glass fiber.
