IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus made easy to take out a medium while reducing the dead space in the image forming apparatus as compared to the arrangement requiring to previously secure within an image forming apparatus a space for displacing an ejecting section.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus (U) comprises a receiving section (TR1) that receives a medium (S) in a state extending along the direction of gravity, a delivery section (Rp, Rs) that delivers the medium from an upper end of the receiving section (TR1), a recording section (Ua) that is arranged at an upper part of a main body (U1) of the image forming apparatus and for recording an image to the medium (S), and an ejecting section (TRh) that is arranged lower than the recording section (Ua) and for receiving in a state extending along the direction of gravity the ejected medium (S) on which the image was recorded at the recording section (Ua), which ejecting section (TRh) has a support member (TRh1) that supports the medium (S) from outside of the main body (U1) of the image forming apparatus as viewed horizontally and displaces outward as the media (S) increase in their loading amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】排出部を変動させるための空間を画像形成装置内に予め確保する必要のある構成に比べて、画像形成装置内で使用されない空間を削減しつつ、媒体を取り出しやすくすること。【解決手段】媒体（Ｓ）を重力方向に沿った状態で収容する収容部（ＴＲ１）と、収容部（ＴＲ１）の上端から媒体を送り出す送出部（Ｒｐ，Ｒｓ）と、画像形成装置の本体（Ｕ１）の上部に配置され、前記媒体（Ｓ）に画像を記録する記録部（Ｕａ）と、記録部（Ｕａ）よりも下方に配置され、記録部（Ｕａ）で画像が記録され排出された媒体（Ｓ）を重力方向に沿った状態で収容する排出部（ＴＲｈ）であって、水平方向で見て画像形成装置の本体（Ｕ１）の外側から当該媒体（Ｓ）を支持し、当該媒体（Ｓ）の積載量が増加すると外側に向けて変動する支持部材（ＴＲｈ１）を有する排出部（ＴＲｈ）と、を備えた画像形成装置（Ｕ）。【選択図】図１
