Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a temperature sensor calibration insert from getting stuck in a receiving bore and allow for achieving homogenous temperature.SOLUTION: A block calibrator 1 for calibrating a temperature sensor has a heating block 10 having at least one heating means 11 provided thereon or therein, where the heating block 10 features a receiving bore 12 for receiving a calibration insert 13, into which a test object 14 formed by a temperature sensor can be inserted.
