PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector which detects contact with an object in a reproducible state, so as to be able to accurately detect the contact with reproducibility.SOLUTION: A detector for detecting contact with an object includes: a fixing part 10; a shaft part 2; a base part 4 which is connected to the shaft part 2, and which is provided movably relative to the fixing part 10; a sensor for measuring the amount of displacement caused by inclination of the base part 4 to the fixing part 10 due to the contact of the shaft part 2 with the object; and a control part for determining the presence or absence of the contact with the object on the basis of the measured amount of the displacement.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】対象物との接触を再現性のある状態で検出して、再現性のある正確な接触検出が可能な検出装置を提供する。【解決手段】対象物との接触を検出する装置であって、検出装置に設けられる固定部１０と、軸部２及び軸部２に接続され、固定部１０に対して可動となるよう設けられた基部４と、対象物及び軸部２の接触による、固定部１０に対する基部４の傾斜に起因する変位量を測定するセンサと、測定された変位量に基づいて、対象物との接触の有無を判断する制御部と、を備えた検出装置。【選択図】図３
