BATTERY HOUSING FOR TRACTION BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery housing for a traction battery.SOLUTION: A battery housing (20) for receiving a traction battery (15) has a battery housing part (30, 32) and a cover (50) which together define a receiving region (21) for the traction battery (15). The cover (50) has a contact surface (52), and the battery housing part (30, 32) has a contact counter surface (34), the contact surface (52) and the contact counter surface (34) lying against each other in a contact region (90). A shielding part (70) extending into a shielding region (73) is provided, the shielding region (73) being arranged between the receiving region (21) and the contact region (90) in order to bring about shielding of the receiving region (21) and the contact region (90).
