IMAGE HOLDING UNIT AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image holding unit that can reduce spill of developer during attachment/detachment.SOLUTION: An image holding unit comprises: a body part including an image holding body that is attachable to and detachable from an image forming apparatus and holds an electrostatic latent image, and a storage part that can store a developer containing toner; a discharge port that discharges the developer stored in the storage part from the storage part; an opening/closing part that is provided to be able to open/close the discharge port; and a shielding part that exposes or shields the image holding body in the body part.
