Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of a valve directly coupled to a cavity which does not cause inflow of molten metal into an exhaust duct while making release of gas generated in the cavity possible when directly arranging the exhaust duct onto the cavity of a mold.SOLUTION: A control method of a valve 36 directly coupled to a cavity including a gas release path which arrives at the cavity 18 of a mold 12 settled on a casting machine and a valve body 42 which closes an open end part of the cavity 18 side on the gas release path is characterized in that a closing instruction signal for the valve 36 directly coupled to the cavity, such a timing that the valve body 42 closes the open end in accordance with a closing instruction signal and at least one side of a molten metal injection time or a molten metal injection position in an injection device 28 are detected, and a safety time defined by the molten injection time predefined for the injection device 28 or an elapse time up to the molten metal injection position from the closing time of the open end part is managed by a change of an output timing of the closing instruction signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】金型のキャビティに排気ダクト直接配置する場合において、キャビティ内に生ずるガスの放出を可能としつつ、排気ダクト内への溶湯の流入を生じさせる事の無い、キャビティ直結バルブの制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】鋳造機に設置した金型12のキャビティ18に到達するガス解放経路と、前記ガス解放経路におけるキャビティ18側の開放端部を閉塞する弁体42とを有するキャビティ直結バルブ36の制御方法であって、キャビティ直結バルブ36に対する閉塞指令信号と、前記閉塞指令信号に応じて弁体42が開放端部を閉塞するタイミング、及び射出装置28における溶湯射出時間または溶湯射出位置の少なくとも一方を検出し、前記開放端部の閉塞時から、射出装置28に対して予め定められた溶湯射出時間または溶湯射出位置までの経過時間により定められる安全時間を前記閉塞指令信号の出力タイミングの変化により管理することを特徴とする。【選択図】図3
