PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus capable of excellent radio communication even if an antenna is placed on an upper side of a lid of a clamshell notebook PC and there is a radio station opposite to the antenna in the state of the lid being closed.SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus is provided with an antenna 24, an adaptive array antenna, on an upper part of a lid openable and closable for a device body, and capable of radio communication via the antenna 24 even in the state of the lid being closed. The antenna 24 is formed surrounded by a GFRP section 32 made from a dielectric material at an upper end rim section of a back side cover 23a of the lid, and the back side cover 23a of the lid excluding the upper end rim section is covered with a back side CFRP sheet 51 and a front side CFRP sheet 53. A metal sheet 42 is arranged between CFRP sheets 41 and 43 of the back side CFRP sheet 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】クラムシェル型のノート型ＰＣの蓋体の上側にアンテナを配置し、蓋体が閉じた状態で、アンテナの反対側に無線ステーションが存在する場合であっても無線通信を良好に行うことができる電子機器を提供すること。【解決手段】装置本体に対して開閉可能な蓋体の上部にアダプティブアレイアンテナであるアンテナ２４を設け、蓋体が閉じた状態でもアンテナ２４を介して無線通信が可能な電子機器であって、アンテナ２４は、蓋体の背面カバー２３ａの上端縁部で誘電体材料で形成されたＧＦＲＰ部３２に囲まれて形成され、蓋体の背面カバー２３ａのうち、上端縁部以外を、背面側ＣＦＲＰシート５１及び正面側ＣＦＲＰシート５３で覆い、背面側ＣＦＲＰシート５１のＣＦＲＰシート４１，４３間に金属シート４２を配置した。【選択図】図６
