PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress adverse effects caused by the heat of a laser beam on target cells when removing unwanted cells by a laser beam.SOLUTION: A cell culture method for culturing target cells while removing unwanted cells when target cells to be cultured and cells other than the target cells which are unwanted are present in a culture solution in a culture vessel comprises: a step of laser beam irradiation which irradiates unwanted cells with a laser beam in order to remove the unwanted cells which have adhered to the culture vessel; a culturing step of culturing the target cells which is carried out after laser beam irradiation step; and a step of culture solution exchange in which the culture solution including the unwanted cells removed from the culture vessel is exchanged for new culture solution which is carried out after the culturing step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】レーザー光によって不要細胞を剥離させる場合に、レーザー光の熱が目的細胞に及ぼす悪影響を抑える。【解決手段】培養容器に入れられた培養液中に存在する細胞に、培養対象である目的細胞と目的細胞以外の不要細胞とが含まれる場合に、不要細胞を除去しながら目的細胞を培養するための細胞培養方法であって、培養容器に接着している不要細胞を培養容器から剥離させるため、不要細胞にレーザー光を照射するレーザー光照射工程と、レーザー光照射工程に続いて実行される、目的細胞を培養する培養工程と、培養工程に続いて実行される、培養容器から剥離した不要細胞を含む培養液を新しいものに交換する培養液交換工程と、を備える。【選択図】図６
