PASSENGER CONVEYOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor in which a fence to be installed outside a handrail is formed with high rigidity, whether the fence is new or existing and is arranged in a width of the passenger conveyor.SOLUTION: The passenger conveyor comprises: a plurality of footsteps 5, connected in an endless manner, which move between platforms; a handrail 6, provided at a side in an advancing direction of the plurality of footsteps, which has a handrail panel 12 and an outer deck 14 covering an outer lower part of the handrail panel; a moving arm rail 7, installed through an arm rail frame 16 above the handrail, which moves in synchronization with the footsteps; and a fence 8 arranged outside the handrail. The fence is arranged in a vertical projection plane of the outer deck, a lower end of which is fixed to the outer deck with a first fence fixing fitting and an intermediate part of which is fixed to the arm rail frame with a second fence fixing fitting.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】欄干の外側に設置されるフェンスを、新設・既設を問わず、剛性の高いものとし、かつ乗客コンベア幅内に配置した乗客コンベアを提供する。【解決手段】本発明の乗客コンベアは、無端状に連結されて乗降口間を移動する複数の踏段５と、該複数の踏段の進行方向側方に設けられ、欄干パネル１２、該欄干パネルの外側下部を覆う外デッキ１４を有する欄干６と、該欄干の上部の手摺枠１６を介して取り付けられ、前記踏段と同期して移動する移動手摺７と、前記欄干の外側に配置されるフェンス８と、を備え、前記フェンスは、前記外デッキの垂直投影面内に配置されるとともに、下端が、第一フェンス固定金具により前記外デッキに固定され、かつ、中間部が、第二フェンス固定金具により前記手摺枠に固定されるものとした。【選択図】図２
