PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter vessel for accommodating a filter insert made of water-permeable material, by which uniform filling of two containers is possible at the same time.SOLUTION: The filter vessel for accommodating a filter insert (2) which is made of water-permeable material and can be filled with coffee grounds, comprises upwardly spreading side walls and a bottom (19), on which a filtrate can flow through at least two openings (9, 10 ). A separating element (11) is provided in a central region of the bottom (19), which divides the region above the bottom (19) into two approximately equal-sized drainage chambers (12, 13), each drainage chamber (12, 13) being assigned at least one opening (9, 10) for draining the filtrate.
