PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel member which allows another member to be connected thereto at a desired position and can reduce a cost and time to manufacture the same.SOLUTION: A steel member 100 comprises H-section steel 10 linearly extended in a longitudinal direction X. A plurality of welding stud bolts 13 are installed on a flange 12a at positions corresponding to a web 11. Another steel member 300 linearly extended in the longitudinal direction X comprises a square steel pipe 31 having a closed rectangular cross-section. The plurality of welding stud bolts 13 are installed on the square steel pipe 31.
